Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of cloud-based AI services, the full-time Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, while working remotely in a collaborative environment focused on reliability, security, and quality delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain backend services and APIs for cloud and AI integrations
- Improve application reliability, performance, security, and observability through sound engineering practices
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience, particularly with REST APIs and production web services
- Strong Python programming and object-oriented design skills
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud
- Understanding of secure coding practices and application monitoring
