Software Engineer
Job Summary
To design and develop application programs, the full-time remote Software Engineer will perform complex analysis, coding, testing, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders to define system scope and objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct software analysis, implement source code, and perform testing, including automated unit tests
- Debug and correct software bugs, update documentation, and report data results from testing and analysis
- Gather and document technical and functional user requirements while participating in regular meetings and peer reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
- 3 years of software development experience in an object-oriented programming language
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, Python, .NET Framework, or Java
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
