Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and maintaining developer tools, the full-time Software Engineer will work remotely to create integrations across languages and frameworks while collaborating with product squads to ensure consistent API behavior and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain developer tools for easy integration with Resend across various languages and environments
- Collaborate with product squads on API contracts and ensure consistent behavior across SDKs, CLI, and documentation
- Manage compatibility, testing, releases, and upgrades to ensure reliability for developers using the tools
Required qualifications
- Strong backend engineering experience, including building and maintaining APIs or services in production
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and partial failures
- Experience in building software that other developers depend on, with a focus on maintaining it
- Ability to propose focused solutions to ambiguous problems and follow through after release
