Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Software Engineer on the Compliance Program Engineering team, the successful candidate will design, build, and maintain platforms that support regulatory compliance across Block's ecosystem, focusing on transaction data management and entity labeling while collaborating with various teams to ensure system usability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for transaction and labeling platforms
• Implement systems within microservice and event-driven architectures while ensuring data security
• Build self-serve tools and ingestion pipelines to facilitate onboarding of new products and entity labeling

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of software development or equivalent experience
• Experience with end-to-end delivery of production software systems
• Proficiency in both backend services and user interfaces
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including experience with AI-powered developer tools
