Job Summary
To develop production-quality software implementing Government Reference Architectures for defense systems, the remote Software Engineer will utilize C++ and modern DevOps practices while collaborating with systems engineers and government stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for mission-critical defense systems
- Translate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts into functional software components
- Implement and maintain software supporting distributed systems using messaging frameworks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production-quality software development
- Strong proficiency in C++ software development
- Experience with modern DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
- Familiarity with translating SysML or Cameo models into software implementations
