Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain features across the platform, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that enhance customer gifting strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and user-friendly web interfaces using Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, React, and modern JavaScript
- Build and enhance public and internal APIs, adapting to customer and internal team needs while maintaining documentation
- Implement DevOps best practices to ensure system reliability and performance, utilizing tools such as Sentry, DataDog, and New Relic
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software development within a product-focused company
- Proficiency in backend development with Ruby on Rails and relational databases, including SQL
- Experience in frontend development with React and modern JavaScript, integrating with RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools and automated testing practices
- Demonstrated ability to design and maintain RESTful APIs with clear documentation
