Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the USCYBERCOM J9 and the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) mission, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs while working with Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, microservices, and REST APIs for cyber training capabilities
- Build and support applications deployed in Kubernetes environments and integrate with cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure reliable software delivery
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, with a preference for TypeScript or Go
- Experience working with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps environments
