Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Software Engineer for a full-time position to design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs, while working with Kubernetes and cloud-based infrastructure in support of USCYBERCOM J9 and the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE).
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and microservices for cyber training capabilities
- Integrate software with cloud infrastructure and develop infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably TypeScript or Go
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience building backend applications, services, or REST APIs
