Software Engineer
Job Summary
Developing embedded software for robotics automation, the full-time Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and ensure high-quality software through best practices in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for controlling robot motion and interfacing with vacuum chamber subsystems
- Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to define and communicate software requirements and design changes
- Participate in Zero Defects initiatives to improve the software development process and support troubleshooting of field issues
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in programming with C++11 or later
- Experience with embedded real-time systems in multi-threading and interrupt-driven environments
- Familiarity with BSP and low-level hardware interface development, including FPGA integration
- Experience in modern software development practices and Agile environments
- Knowledge of robotics, kinematics/dynamics, or motion planning is a plus
