Focusing on orchestration and job execution, the full-time Software Engineer will design, build, and operate backend services for Alteryx's cloud platform, utilizing modern technologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver backend services, APIs, and shared libraries that support cloud platform capabilities
- Build and improve systems for orchestrating work, including job submission and execution tracking
- Develop reliable asynchronous and event-driven systems using messaging and background workers
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production software
- Experience in backend services and APIs, preferably using TypeScript and Node.js
- Understanding of asynchronous and distributed processing concepts
