Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building anti-abuse systems, the full-time Software Engineer will develop real-time enforcement mechanisms and detection pipelines to ensure a secure email environment, working remotely within the Americas or European timezones.
Key responsibilities
- Build and run the real-time enforcement layer within a latency budget of milliseconds
- Design detection pipelines and rules that transition from signal to decision to action
- Automate manual processes such as investigations and appeals to manage growing volumes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React (Hono, Next.js)
- Experience with AWS, CDK, and Datadog for infrastructure and reliability
- Familiarity with APIs, event-driven architectures, and stateful services
- Proven experience with databases such as Postgres and Redis
