Software Engineer
Job Summary
Guiding and mentoring a software team, the permanent remote Senior Software Engineer will develop device telemetry and data streaming technology for a multi-brand agricultural data platform while ensuring adherence to development standards and CI/CD practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement telemetry and data streaming solutions for connected machinery
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the software team, including conducting technical interviews
- Identify and mitigate risks while participating in project-related meetings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience with CDK Lambda, AWS Cloudwatch, Confluent, and JAVA programming
- Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD, Jenkins, and AWS Code Pipeline
- 3 years of experience working in a Stream Platform using tools like Flink
- Eligibility for remote work within the central time zone and willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
