Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated early-career Software Engineer, the remote position will involve designing, building, and maintaining features across multiple layers of industry-leading fluid flow simulation applications while collaborating with a team of engineers to modernize the codebase.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain features for Windows desktop applications based on requirements with guidance from senior engineers
- Diagnose and fix defects in the codebase, including customer-reported issues
- Contribute to internal tooling, build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructure
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of professional software development experience, including internships or substantial academic projects
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language, preferably C#
- Solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design and data structures
- Working knowledge of version control systems
