Job Summary
Building scalable backend systems and APIs, the full-time Software Engineer will focus on identity verification and fraud workflows while working remotely from various states including California, Colorado, Texas, and Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Develop backend services and APIs to support identity verification and fraud detection
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to integrate intelligent risk models
- Contribute to platform performance, reliability, and monitoring while working with cloud-native infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong Java development experience and familiarity with building REST APIs
- Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and experience with databases such as MongoDB or SQL
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
