Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Software Engineer will design and develop high-quality software applications for the product suite while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop maintainable software modules for the product suite
- Conduct unit and integration testing, and analyze requirements to create detailed designs for implementation
- Mentor team members in software engineering methods and resolve software-related issues from customers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years' experience with software engineering best practices, including continuous integration and unit testing
- Proficiency in Java or Python, and experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SAFe agile practices is preferred
