Software Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on document processing, the Software Engineer will work remotely on a 6-month extendable contract, developing and maintaining applications for document automation systems, enhancing PDF generation, and integrating with various services for high-volume production.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain object-oriented applications using PHP and PDFLib for large-scale document generation workflows
- Integrate applications with AWS services and third-party APIs to ensure secure and scalable data exchange
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective software solutions while supporting existing applications and identifying process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years of experience in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment
- Strong experience with PDF generation and document workflow technologies, such as PDFLib and similar tools
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and RDS
- Experience developing and testing APIs using RESTful and/or SOAP architectures
