Software Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining features in the web user experience for the Evolent Platform, the full-time Software Engineer will work remotely in an Agile team environment, focusing on building React and Next.js features while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop React and Next.js features, ensuring adherence to coding standards and established patterns
- Write component and end-to-end tests, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance software development processes and ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with React and TypeScript
- Working knowledge of Next.js or similar server-rendered React frameworks
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern React patterns
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA) and semantic HTML
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD using GitHub Actions
