Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Data Plane Transport team, the full-time Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs primarily in Go, while also contributing to frontend applications using TypeScript and React in a remote-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs, focusing on distributed systems using Go
• Build and enhance secure connectivity solutions involving service registration, orchestration, and communication protocols
• Own features and enhancements through the entire software development lifecycle, from implementation to production support

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs using Go or a comparable backend language
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including debugging, automated testing, and writing maintainable code
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and service-to-service communication
• Experience developing or deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
