Software Engineer

Job Summary

Developing C++ algorithms for sensor data processing, the full-time Software Engineer will design efficient processing pipelines and collaborate with teams to support machine learning model deployment in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop C++ algorithms to process and interpret lidar, radar, and camera sensor data
• Design and implement efficient processing pipelines for large-scale streaming sensor data
• Collaborate with Perception and Planning teams to define data needs and support machine learning model validation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience
• 3 years of experience in C++ algorithm development for sensor data processing
• Experience in pipeline design and processing for large-scale streaming sensor data
• Proficiency in scalable API design and development for downstream consumers
• Experience with machine learning model deployment, testing, and validation
