Job Summary
Joining the Turso core database team, the full-time Software Engineer will drive the development of an Open Source database, ensure code reliability, and maintain Cloud operations in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Driving the progress of the Turso Open Source database, focusing on the Postgres compatibility layer
- Ensuring code reliability and implementing systems to maintain operational integrity
- Maintaining and improving the scalability of Turso Cloud operations, including the Cloud API
Required qualifications
- Experience in writing databases or high-stakes low-level systems
- Familiarity with deploying and debugging large-scale software systems in cloud environments like AWS and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Rust and experience with Embedded databases
- Experience with deterministic simulation testing and formal verification methods
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
