Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the expansion of insurance products, the remote Software Engineer will contribute to backend services and APIs, translate product requirements into clean code, and implement experimentation capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate distributed backend services in a service-oriented architecture
- Translate product and regulatory requirements into well-tested code and configurable platform behavior
- Implement logging and metrics for experimentation, partnering with Product and Data Science teams
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on backend services
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go
- Experience building and operating services and APIs, with knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
