Software Engineer
Job Summary
As Trava's first in-house Software Engineer, the full-time role will focus on establishing a robust data infrastructure, building reporting systems, and transitioning technical projects from external partners to in-house management, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build the marketing data foundation by setting up a data warehouse and pipelines for comprehensive data analysis
- Develop actionable scorecards and dashboards for leadership and marketing teams to track key performance metrics
- Maintain and enhance existing reporting and attribution systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software or data engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for coding and complex queries
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse setup and pipeline tools such as BigQuery or Snowflake
- Experience in building dashboards using BI tools like Tableau or Looker
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members effectively
