Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time salaried Software Engineer will develop solutions for Jet Engine/Rig Testing and Calibration Laboratories, collaborating with engineers to create software tools and integrate third-party applications on client devices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for engineering applications in testing and calibration environments
- Interface with engineers from multiple disciplines to gather requirements and propose process improvements
- Administer, install, and integrate third-party software on client imaged Windows devices
Required qualifications
- BS Degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in C++, Fortran (preferred), Perl/Shell scripting, and Python
- Experience with GitHub, Linux, Windows Sys Admin skills, and Real Time Data Acquisition Systems
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain Government Clearance
- Strong analytical and testing skills with experience in front-line support for engineering issues
