Job Summary
Driving the evolution of the non-human identity data backbone, the full-time remote Software Engineer on the NHI Platform team will design, develop, and operate scalable systems that transform high volumes of identity data from third-party integrations into reliable product foundations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate systems for transforming identity data with correctness and operational rigor
- Contribute to the technical vision for a world-class data infrastructure that supports engineering, product, and AI teams
- Establish SLOs and implement observability tools to proactively catch and remediate failures in identity data systems
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of professional backend or platform engineering experience with production systems
- Strong backend fundamentals, including building APIs and services backed by relational databases like Postgres or MySQL
- Experience deploying containerized services to AWS, GCP, or Azure and participating in on-call rotations
- Familiarity with concepts such as idempotency, ordering, and retries in data processing
- Excitement for building foundational systems in a greenfield environment
