Job Summary
To support the performance and stability of critical applications, the full-time Software Engineer will implement functionality changes, resolve production issues, and collaborate with various teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for Cotiviti's software products
- Conduct unit and integration testing, and analyze requirements to create detailed designs for implementation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot software-related issues and enhance existing systems
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of industry experience, including Java and database management (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring or Spring Boot) and frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Vue)
- 2+ years of healthcare data experience and proficiency in troubleshooting production issues
- Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, with knowledge of SAFe agile practices preferred
