Job Summary
Joining a cross-functional team, the remote Software Engineer will contribute to rebuilding Zwift.com into a modern growth platform, focusing on customer acquisition, subscription management, and e-commerce features.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable code across various platforms and programming languages
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to scope and plan projects while participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Establish a supported web-platform foundation, including rendering strategies, API access patterns, and automated testing
Required qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a relevant technical area
- 2-5 years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript or TypeScript and a component-based frontend framework, preferably React
- Experience with web development, cloud-based microservices, and server-rendered or hybrid web frameworks, with a preference for Next.js
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including automated testing and continuous integration
