Software Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and maintain software applications for internal and external credit union use, the full-time hybrid Software Engineer will focus on full stack development, including database design, API implementations, and front-end UI development while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in full stack software development, ensuring quality systems with an emphasis on security and performance
• Participate in collaborative coding sessions, code reviews, and contribute to process improvements and automation opportunities
• Create unit tests, assist in automated testing, and contribute to documentation of systems to support organizational understanding

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience with object-oriented languages such as C# or Java
• Familiarity with .NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ORM libraries such as EF Core or Dapper
• Knowledge of Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
