Job Summary
Joining a fully remote team, the Software Engineer, AI Data will build and optimize data pipelines for model training and next-generation AI products, leveraging engineering and research to create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale.
Key responsibilities
- Discover new sources of audio data and develop reliable pipelines for training datasets
- Build and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and support model development
Required qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development fundamentals
- Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
- Experience in building and operating production systems, especially data pipelines or large-scale data processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
