Job Summary
To support the development of innovative software solutions, the full-time remote Software Engineer, Backend will assist in designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications while collaborating with a diverse team to achieve shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software while following best practices and contributing to team results
- Actively seeks opportunities for growth and learning through experimentation and collaboration
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with team members in agile processes to meet shared objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queuing/streaming platforms, specifically Google Cloud Pub/Sub
- Experience with NoSQL database systems, particularly Apache Cassandra, in high-throughput environments
- Hands-on experience with observability, metrics, and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana
