Job Summary
As a full-time remote Software Engineer on the Data Engineering team, the successful candidate will design and implement core components of the identity data platform, focusing on building APIs and service layers that enhance data accessibility and integration across products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement core components of the identity data platform, including APIs and service layers
- Build and extend the data interface framework for reusable patterns in contract design and observability
- Collaborate across teams to migrate product surfaces to well-defined, product-grade APIs
Required qualifications
- Strong experience as a backend or platform engineer, particularly with service layers and transactional databases (MySQL/Postgres)
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Experience designing service or API interfaces over transactional datastores
- Strong instinct for data correctness, observability, and SLOs in systems
- Familiarity with identity and access governance (IGA) data and its impact on governance outcomes
