Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure
Job Summary
To support the data operations of a growing AI team, the full-time remote Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure will manage data collection processes, enhance cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with scientists to optimize data quality and scale for model training.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and integrate new audio data sources into the ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline using Terraform on GCP
- Collaborate with AI team members to develop a dataset roadmap for next-generation products
Required qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development
- Proficiency in bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
- Experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, with professional experience in a major Cloud Provider (GCP preferred)
- Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
