Job Summary
Joining a remote-first team, the full-time Software Engineer - Data Platform will focus on building and maintaining Databricks infrastructure across AWS and GCP, contributing to platform administration, and supporting engineers in utilizing the data platform effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Databricks infrastructure using Terraform
- Contribute to Unity Catalog administration and data security measures
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in CircleCI, enhancing deployment processes
Required qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of software engineering experience with major cloud providers
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts like ETL pipelines and data modeling
- Openness to working with AI coding agents and assistants
