Software Engineer, Finance

Job Summary

To support foundational financial operations, the full-time Software Engineer, Finance will design and build backend services and integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform complex financial requirements into scalable technology solutions, with a focus on AI enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Build financial operations and reporting infrastructure by designing and implementing backend services for various financial functions
• Lead platform migration by architecting the transition of business-critical workflows from legacy systems to internal platforms without disruption
• Design workflow and automation systems, creating configurable engines and event-driven automations to enhance efficiency across business lines

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software, with expertise in one or more technical areas
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design, including high throughput services and state management
• Experience with workflow or state machine systems, designing complex lifecycle processes with branching logic
• Proficiency in building and maintaining APIs and integrations, including REST and event-driven architectures
• Experience working on financially sensitive or regulated systems, with an understanding of audit trails and access controls
