Job Summary
To support the Websites team, the full-time remote Software Engineer I will design, implement, and enhance web solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance and user experience for Toast's customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scope, and implement cutting-edge web solutions using various technologies
- Enhance the platform for improved performance, usability, and scalability
- Collaborate with Design and Product stakeholders to ensure effective solutions are built
Required qualifications
- Experience in developing full stack web applications
- Proficiency with backend technologies such as Node.js and Java/Kotlin
- Familiarity with web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frontend frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience with tools like Docker, Git, and Bash/ZSH
- Passion for writing clean, testable code with experience in API design and testing
