Job Summary
To support the development of scalable data systems, the remote Software Engineer I will contribute to the design, development, and operation of core components of the data platform while collaborating with experienced engineers on ambitious projects.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and operation of core components of the data platform
- Build tools and services to facilitate the adoption and scaling of data systems by other teams
- Help automate infrastructure and operations to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in backend, distributed systems, or infrastructure
- Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including data structures, clean code, testing, and debugging
- Interest in learning about AWS, Databricks, and related technologies
- Curiosity and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to ask questions and learn
