Job Summary
Seeking an adaptable Software Engineer II for a remote, full-time position, who will write reliable code, manage medium-scope features, and contribute to the ePaaS mission by delivering scalable identity and onboarding services for McGraw Hill's EdTech platform.
Key responsibilities
- Write reliable, maintainable code and perform quality improvements independently
- Take ownership of medium complexity features and participate in design discussions
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist newer teammates with their development tasks
Required qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of software development, preferably in EdTech
- Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, and SQL
- Familiarity with frameworks like Angular and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in cloud services, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience in the full software development life cycle, including testing and documentation
