Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote contract Software Engineer II will design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications while writing clean and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-level applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and contribute to system architecture using microservices
- Utilize Azure DevOps for code management and participate in the full software development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development, including HTML, CSS, Java/Open JDK v11+, and C#
- Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
- Solid understanding of relational databases and familiarity with performance tuning tools
- Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
