Software Engineer II
Job Summary
To support a growing platform that calculates and delivers pay to restaurant employees, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will collaborate with design and product teams to develop scalable software applications, participate in architectural discussions, and leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable full-stack software applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Design, build, and maintain high-performing solutions that enhance the restaurant experience
- Provide design feedback and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to requirements
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of back-end experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin)
- Proficient with modern web standards and technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with traditional databases and alternative data stores
- Background in delivering high-quality, reliable services to production
- Familiarity with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices
