Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Building and maintaining Windows desktop applications in C# and .NET, the full-time hybrid Software Engineer II will take ownership of well-defined features, write clean code, and collaborate with QA to ensure product quality while mentoring junior developers.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, testable C# code for desktop applications using WPF and other frameworks
- Diagnose and fix defects, collaborating with QA to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in agile ceremonies to enhance team processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in C# and .NET
- Hands-on experience building Windows desktop applications using WPF, WinForms, or WinUI
- Solid understanding of MVVM, asynchronous programming, and RESTful services
- Proficiency with Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps
