Software Engineer II
Job Summary
In this hybrid role, the full-time Software Engineer II will build full-stack Pinner-facing features, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to enhance user experiences and drive new initiatives from conception to release.
Key responsibilities
- Build and implement full-stack features to enhance user engagement on Pinterest
- Lead the product development process, including prototyping, A/B testing, and scaling solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end functionality and suggest new product ideas
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in full-stack or backend development for consumer or business-facing products
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, and APIs
- Experience in writing reliable and maintainable code following best practices
- Ability to stay current with new technologies and incorporate them into projects
