Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Leading the design and delivery of complex features for the Development Infrastructure team, the remote Software Engineer II will develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, enhance build and deploy pipelines, and take ownership of on-call issues while collaborating with other engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver multi-component features and systems for the Development Infrastructure team's offerings
- Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and tools to facilitate reliable software development and deployment
- Participate in planning, code reviews, and coaching other engineers throughout the software development life cycle
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems and/or platforms
- 2+ years of experience working with Python
- Experience delivering complex projects end-to-end in a cloud-native environment
- Experience building or operating CI/CD, build, or deployment systems in production
- Understanding of distributed systems, containerization, and microservices
