Software Engineer II
Job Summary
Joining the Rules and Actions team, the full-time Software Engineer II will design, develop, and enhance software solutions using Java and Spring, while leveraging AWS services and CI/CD practices to support the rules engine for healthcare supply chain transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance features in the rules execution service, including implementing rule types and actions
- Support EventBus-driven rules and contribute to Intelligent Business Rules capabilities
- Write unit tests and assist with ongoing monolith decoupling and Java version migrations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of software development experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience with Java and J2EE technologies (Spring, Maven)
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies such as EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, or Lambda
- Experience with databases, including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL
