Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Software Engineer II will analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to complex development projects from requirements analysis through user acceptance testing
- Prepare and review technical specifications, project estimates, test plans, and system documentation
- Troubleshoot application issues and recommend technology improvements and process enhancements
Required qualifications:
- Associate degree and at least 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a combination of at least 7 years of higher education and/or work experience with a minimum of 5 years in the field
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure
- Familiarity with application development tools and integrated systems
- Experience coordinating with business and technical teams to implement system solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and manage multiple projects
