Job Summary
Seeking a remote Software Engineer II (Backend), the candidate will own the development of product APIs for Exposure Management, collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing Go to optimize performance and enhance customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Own small-to-medium product API features from design through launch and iteration
- Build and extend public REST and gRPC APIs, ensuring integration with SIEM tools
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product stakeholders to maintain API performance and usability
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend services
- Production experience with Go or strong proficiency in another backend language (Python, Java)
- Experience designing and consuming REST or gRPC APIs
- Solid SQL skills with knowledge of relational data modeling and query performance
- A track record of building maintainable software with CI tests and monitoring
