Job Summary
To support the development of mission-critical infrastructure for payroll systems, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will design, build, and maintain scalable software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable full-stack software applications in collaboration with design and product teams
- Participate in architectural discussions and provide design feedback during code reviews
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows and improve overall project velocity
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of back-end experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Proficiency in modern web standards and technologies, including React, TypeScript, REST, and GraphQL
- Experience with traditional databases and alternative data stores
- Background in delivering high-quality, reliable services to production environments
- Familiarity with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices
