Job Summary
To support the development of mission-critical infrastructure for restaurant payroll systems, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable software applications while providing design feedback and participating in architectural discussions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable full-stack software applications in collaboration with design and product teams
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to influence the technical roadmap
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows and improve project outcomes
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of back-end experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Proficient in modern web technologies including React, TypeScript, REST, and GraphQL
- Experience with traditional databases and alternative data stores
- Familiarity with distributed systems, enterprise messaging systems, and/or microservices
- Strong appreciation for precision and correctness in software output
