Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Software Engineer II will design and develop software solutions for Automated Tank Gauge systems, leveraging modern technology stacks and Agile methodologies while mentoring junior engineers in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute software solutions to meet business needs on Automated Tank Gauge platforms
- Identify and apply newer technology stacks and frameworks to enhance team capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on best practices in design and coding
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages, preferably C++ or Java
- Project leadership experience is preferred
- Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing technologies
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and cloud services like AWS or Azure is beneficial
