Job Summary
To drive key capabilities across the loan servicing ecosystem, the full-time remote Software Engineer II will build features governing the post-funding loan lifecycle, collaborating with a cross-functional engineering team to develop reliable APIs, data-integrity safeguards, and intuitive user interfaces using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and React.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems
- Write clean, efficient code and implement automated test suites to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine product features and guide junior engineers in best practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3-5 years of full-stack software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Node.js
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Advanced SQL capabilities with experience in relational database engines such as PostgreSQL
