Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To contribute to core customer identity and authentication capabilities, the remote full-time Software Engineer II will build and maintain backend services for registration, login, and account lifecycle flows, collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver secure and reliable identity features.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing authentication features, including smoother login experiences and multi-factor authentication
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python or Kotlin, transforming product requirements into functional software
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams, participating in the software development lifecycle from design to deployment

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to write, test, and debug software in Python, Kotlin, or similar languages through various experiences
• Foundational understanding of backend development, including APIs, data structures, and databases
• Genuine curiosity about authentication and motivation to create secure customer experiences
• Practical problem-solving approach and willingness to learn through mentorship and collaboration
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
