Focused on developing AI-powered applications, the remote Software Engineer II - AI will design, implement, and maintain generative AI solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance educational products used by millions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain AI platform and tools, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Scope and implement project-level solutions autonomously, delivering high-quality code on time
• Integrate accessibility best practices into software development processes

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in product or enterprise software development
• Strong hands-on experience with full software stack including Backend (Python, Node.js), Frontend (Angular/React), and Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
• Experience developing scalable AI solutions using technologies like Azure AI Search or Amazon Bedrock
• Practical knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and integrating LLMs with external tools
